Gerald Tyler

Senior Construction Manager

Joined AG|CM in 2005.

Gerald possesses over thirty (30) years of construction and military experience, having served in a supervisory capacity across multiple industry sectors and in multiple construction disciplines. In addition to serving as owner representative, he’s held positions such as project manager for developers and as a project superintendent with general contractors. Gerald has served successfully as Quality Assurance Inspector, Construction Manager and Project Manager on a diverse list of projects, including public buildings, private development, K-12 facilities, higher education facilities, roadwork, office buildings and public and private utilities. Gerald has excellent communication, supervisory and organizational skills. Gerald is certified in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) through the certifying entity of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).


Mr. Tyler is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project and supervision and coordination of in-house field personnel. He is responsible to provide leadership and perform administration and management within a defined scope of services from concept to completion, through startup and occupancy. He provides guidance on project-related activities and serves as the lead for the PDT consisting of the Owner, Architect/Engineer and Contractor. Through hands-on coordination with the PDT, he acts in the interest of the Owner as agent and/or advisor. He serves as supervisor and/or mentor to Construction Managers, Assistant Construction Manager(s), Inspector(s) and/or other technical or administrative personnel specifically assigned to his projects.
