Joe joined AG|CM as Vice President of Finance and Accounting in November 2020. Joe is a Texas CPA and a graduate of Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. He has almost three decades of experience in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, and technology solutions for companies to achieve their business goals. Joe and his team handle all of the daily accounting needs and the financial planning and analysis for AG|CM.
Prior to joining AG|CM, Joe held various senior accounting and finance management positions including Senior Corporate Director and Vice President/Controller. He also previously worked in accounting and finance in the oil and gas industries.
Joe has been involved in the community, serving on the Boards for Laffite’s Cove HOA and Pirates Property HOA in Galveston, Texas.
Why did you choose AG|CM?
I chose AGCM because of it putting employees first and being a family-focused company. I have worked in the industry for more than 40 years and have seen too many companies make decisions that are entirely decided by what is best for the company, no matter the cost and burden it puts on the employees. I was intent on finding a company that didn’t think that way and I did when I found AG|CM!
What was your first job ever?
My first job was selling toys in my Aunt’s toy store, Bozo’s Big Top Toy shop at the age of 12. With
this job I learned responsibility and how to work and talk to other employees and clients.
