Six-Word-Bio

"What doesn’t challenge, won’t change you"

Which achievements are you the proudest of during your time with AG|CM?

I am most proud of achieving the CCM and participating in the Leadership Development Program.

How did you get into this industry? / Did you always know you wanted this career?

I was working in a “go nowhere” desk job for an insurance company and decided to go back to school. I found out about an Architectural Technology 2-year degree at Del Mar College and was quickly introduced to AG|CM and Derwood by my professor. Prior to meeting Derwood, I did not know this type of Management existed. I always enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. Playing and building things with tools, but when I got into the Architectural program it opened up another aspect of construction. I will always be grateful for the opportunities AG|CM has given me and can’t imagine doing anything else as a career.

Who has been your greatest role model growing up?

My mother is my greatest role model. She always worked full-time, went to school, and made sure we had dinner together at the end of the day. She has always put her family first but also managed to grow a nursing career that eventually ended with her own Senior Care Management company.
