Marty Schmitt was appointed to the role of President in January 2022, and is responsible for the direction and operation of AG|CM. As a leader, he is truly passionate not only about the company’s overall growth and success, but also about our employees’ professional development and personal well-being. One of his primary missions is to keep providing learning opportunities within AG|CM to motivate, inspire and development, both for the individual and the team.

Since joining AG|CM in 2007, Mr. Schmitt has held several key leadership roles; he started as an owner’s rep for the City of Corpus Christi CIP Bond program and then directed a 300 million TAMU System construction program. He then transferred to Houston, TX to take on a Vice President role and establish a new regional presence in East Texas. In this role, Mr. Schmitt was an integral part of our success in the East Texas region.

With a career spanning over 25 years, Mr. Schmitt began his career at Kiewit Construction Company in Boston, MA as an intern and later as a full-time employee working on “The Big Dig,” one of the largest heavy civil projects ever built in the United States. He was transferred to Corpus Christi, TX in October 2002 to assist in the development and management of Kiewit Offshore Services, an offshore fabrication facility in Ingleside, TX.
