As Director of Operations for the AG|CM Central region, Derek is responsible for the support of team members and clients, as well as ensuring proper manpower and client satisfaction. He has two decades of experience in the construction industry in a wide variety of construction environments.

Derek started with AG|CM as a Project Manager supporting large capital projects within the educational and emergency services sector. His experience working in construction together with his aptitude for communicating with employees, contractors, and clients makes him particularly well-suited for this role.

Why did you choose AG|CM?

While being a General Contractor, working on many projects with AG|CM, I was enticed by the opportunity to foresee challenges and provide the owner with valuable solutions rather than being reactive. I am constantly impressed with the Employee First/Family Focused motto that is lived throughout the organization.

Would you rather start work early or stay late?

I am much more of a morning person and would prefer to start early and be done early.
