Six-Word-Bio

“Little by little, day by day.”

How did you get into this industry? / Did you always know you wanted this career?
I fell into the industry after college. I knew I didn’t want to pursue Architecture professionally about 1 year before I graduated with my degree in Architecture. By chance, I ended up landing an entry-level job with a Contractor and worked my way up through many different departments and projects before I realized I wasn’t just “working a job,” rather I was “pursuing my career.” Fast-forward to now and I’m still not sure where the time went or how I grounded myself in the commercial construction world- but I’m more motivated about the industry than ever!
If you had an extra (work) hour every day, what would you do with it?
I would spend it catching up with colleagues about work, life and everything in between. I really enjoy the “people” side of my job!
How would your family/friends describe you?
Kind, motivated, strong, sensible, and funny. My daughter also says “brave and impatient,” which is probably spot-on.
