Island Hall is adjacent to and ties into the TAMUCC Wellness Center. This newly constructed building provided a 150,000 SF home for The Nursing, Health Sciences and Kinesiology Building. The facility includes student classrooms, faculty offices, computer labs, simulated hospital patient beds and laboratories along with specialized research spaces. A gymnasium, fitness and wellness center, specialized labs for physiology, biomechanics and motor evaluation/development labs are also included in the project. Despite major challenges, AG|CM’s leadership resulted in a project that was completed under budget and on time for opening day of classes.
