Whataburger Field is home of the Corpus Christi Hooks, Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Houston Astros. The 6,500-seat ballpark was constructed at the Port of Corpus Christi on the land of an old cotton warehouse. The facility was designed to retain the historical look and feel of an old ballpark, while the architectural attributes pay a tribute to the site’s heritage. AG|CM provided program management and construction management services to ensure the stadium was completed within budget and within the limited, fast-paced, 12-month construction schedule, meeting the challenge through advanced materials purchasing and other “work arounds”.
